Battle of the Books
Battle of of the books is an exciting program available for both our Junior and Intermediate students. This is a team for those who love to read, have a good memory and a competitive spirit. Students read the 40 books on the Battle list and then have to answer either specific questions about the books or identify which book is being spoken about! The top eight students for each division will be picked for the team. You are picked based on your attendance, how many books you've read and your ability to answer questions. The Juniors meet at lunch recess on Wednesdays and the Intermediates meet at lunch recess or Tuesdays! Click on Sir BoB above to see the book lists and dates for the final competitions! This year our young Junior Team, mostly grade 4s, did an excellent job competing at the Semi-Finals and our also young Senior Team, mostly grade 7s, did an amazing job moving up the Uxbridge Area Finals and placing third there! Already they are planning their tactics for next year...so until next November!
Great work...BoB!
